Printing prob etc.

I can print while online and using e-mail. While in word program, my printer, (canon), receives the info. but does not print. Second, Word won't allow me to enter or stay in what I call normal windows every day. It closes them and sends messages to Microsoft. Yet my computer is suppose to be up to date in all fields. I can't find anything to fix by myself. I know I also have to go to Canon but I thought I should get this out of the way if possible.

Try the troubleshooting techniques outlined at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm. These deal with
the common causes of many problems opening, closing, and using Word. As for
the printing problem, have you downloaded and installed the latest driver
for your printer?
