printing problem in Word 2007

When I try to print a document from MS Word 2007, I get a message that says:
"The macros in this project are disabled. Please refer to the online help or
documentation of the host application to determind how to enable macros."

So I consulted HELP and did what it told me to do about the settings for the
Trust Center, but that didn't help. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the
program, but that didn't help.

My program was printing just fine until yesterday, and I have no idea what I
did to cause this problem.

HELP! :)

This is likely to be caused by macros in the Normal template or in an
add-in. If you exit Word and rename normal.dotm, does that fix things?

In order to find normal.dotm you can perform a search in Windows. Be sure to
search hidden files and folders.

Renaming the normal template didn't help.

When I went back to re-rename the normal tempate, I found that the systm had
created another normal.dotm document.

That is the point of renaming it: to have Word create a fresh copy without
any "garbage."

But note that if renaming didn't help, chances are that the problem is with
an add-in rather than with the Normal template. Did you install something
recently? That application may have an uninstall feature for add-ins.

Within Word, you can click the Office button, and then click Word Options.
Look in the Add-Ins category to see if there are any (new) Word add-ins or
COM add-ins that might be causing the issue.

When I try to disable an add-in, I'm told it's installed for all users and
can only be disabled by an administrator. I AM the administrator. No one else
uses this computer and I was set up as the administrator. Sorry to be such a
PITA. This is very frustrating!

I'm not sure what is preventing you from uninstalling. You could try
manually moving Word add-ins out of the Startup folder for Word (this folder
is also in your user profile).
