Printing Project-level Notes from Server

Hi - we want to use the "Print Grid" or "Export Grid to Excel" feature on the
Project Center view of MS Project Server 2003. However, we want to be able to
also print the Project-Level Notes that we added to each project. Is it
possible to customize the columns/fields (by adding "Notes") that are
included in the printed grid or spreadsheet?

Hi Reid,

Actually - after I posted that question, I figured out how to get the
Project-level notes to print from Project Server! I created a new Project
Center view called 'Project Notes' where I added the data field 'Notes' along
with some other Project level enterprise fields that I had defined. Then when
I viewed the Project Center - those columns appeared with the data that I had
stored for each project in my list. So then when I either printed the grid or
exported to Excel - the project notes were there! It did only seem to grab
the first X characters of my note though -it didn't take the whole thing but
at least we have something now!

That's the problem... you only get 255 characters.

I'm glad it works for you, though.
