Printing Report with Landscape and Portrait Settings

I have two separate reports, one formatted in portrait and the other
in landscape. Ideally, I would like to have them generated as one
report, so I do not need to manually combine them after converting to
pdf. Is there a way to do this in Access (v. 2003). I considered
placing each report as a subreport in the detail section of a "master
report," with a join on a shared primary key, but the formatting of
the master report does not appear to be scalable, depending on the
subreport settings, and is limited by its own portrait/landscape
setting. Any suggestions on how I might achieve my desired goal would
be greatly appreciated.

Not possible in the report or any of its subreports. The
setting in the main report is all that is used and the
subreport orientation setting is ignored.

I have heard that some(?) some pdf programs can combine
them. Search the web and see if you can find one.
