I am creating a database to print about 12 reports, some of them using
input from the user. The input shows up great in the reports and all
is working well there.
But some of these reports are simply 'information' for the person
receiveing this package of reports and have no input at all. So I am
creating them based on a table where I have keyed in the information
and then created a report and designed it according to my needs.
All of this is going well until now.
I have generated a report that complains the record is too long -
meaning i am guessing that i am trying to put too much info in the one
record that generates the report. I can't delete any of the info, I
have looked at the text fields to make them as small as possible, but
neither of those things have cured the problem.
So I am wondering if there is some kind of a work around for this.
Perhaps I am taking the wrong approach entirely. I already have the
reports created earlier as .docs, can I bring them into my project and
have them print out in their ordered spot with the rest of the
reports, or can I call them from outside of my project and get them
into the print queue in their ordered spot.
Any hints or points to the solution are very appreciated.
I did try to break the info into more than one record, but then of
course I couldn't get that to work on the report.
I am at a loss.
