Printing Selection Not Working

Trying hard

Only one of my Word documents doesn't allow me to print a "selection". What
can cause that?

What do you have selected? Is it just text or do you have another element in
the selection you are trying to print?

Also note you cannot print a noncontiguous selection (multiple elements
selected).

Trying hard

Thank you for the reply. I "stumbled" onto what is was. The document contains
a table and I was trying to shade and print a selection within the table. I
put the cusor outside the table, in the margin and the print "selection"
option was available. Your answer appears to be pointing towards that. I just
got lucky. Thanks
