Printing tabloid size pages into OneNote compresses the image

How do I print an 11" (high) by 17" (wide) PDF into OneNote without having it
look compressed. I've tried every option I can think of.

I am running OneNote SP2. I've tried different Page Setup options, so on.
The image will print perfect to Journal. Then I have to create a shortcut on
my One Note page to that Journal file which gets to be cumbersome. All help
is welcome -- Ethan
