Printing text in mirror image

Does anyone know how to print text in a mirror image (so that I can
silk-screen something to a T-Shirt)?

Ha! Evil!
It's only a 1 page image right?
Grab a copy of GraphicConverter - its shareware and will do what you
want for free.
Print it to PDF, open in GC. Hit the mirror button in the picture menu
and print it straight from there.

GC is *highly* recommended. It should be on every Mac. In fact if
your's is a relatively recent Powerbook, you may already have a
registered version as part of the bundle that came with it.
Else pick it up at
http://www.lemkesoft.de
and if you use it a lot, fork over the $35. If ever anyone earned the
shareware fee, it's Thorsten Lemke.

When I followed these directions I was greeted with the following message.
Sorry GC can't open a .pdf file Open in Acrobat Reader

Any further advice?

You need a recent version of GraphicConverter. Reading and writing PDF
arrived in v 4.6. and only for OS X I think. The current version is
4.9.3.
Print to PDF of course requires OS X or a full copy of Acrobat.

If all else fails, print to a transparency and turn it over ;-)

Elliot is quite correct. Another trick is to select the graphic image in a
PDF opened with Adobe Reader, copy it, and paste it to a Graphic Converter
file.

Another trick is to check the Printer Driver settings to see if the printer
driver itself offers a Reverse (or Mirror) Print option for iron-on
transfers. Some printers have this feature.
