Printing thumbnails

I woud like to print thumbnails of a Word document, so that I have a less bulky print copy. In the same way we can do this with Power Point, I would like to print 4 to 6 pages per 8-1/2 x 11" sheet of paper. Is this possible?

Yes, possible. On the printer setup screen, see "Layout". This might
be something that requires functionality from the printer driver (which
is not provided by Word). For me printing to an HP Deskjet, I can get
up to 16 pages per page.
