I am trying to save a word document as a pdf but it is saving it with a thick white border. the pdf is to be sent to a printing company not my own printer so has to be borderless. I've tried printer settings and set all margins to zero but no joy.
I would also like my background jpg to be in the pdf too but i cant work out how to do that either.

Go into Print Preferences & make sure the boxes are checked for Drawing
Objects & Print Background Colors & Images. That should address the matter
of the image but there's no guarantee about the full bleed. Backgrounds in
Word are principally intended for web files, not for printing. You may have
to draw a filled rectangle in the Header/Footer layer sized to the same
dimensions as the paper size.
