Printing with Animations in PPT 2002

In previous versions of PowerPoint, I've found an option
to print slides "with animation". This was extremely
helpful for presenters that liked to keep a hard copy for
their records and needed each element of a slide visible.
However, since we've updated to PowerPoint 2002, I have
not been able to find such an option.

It has been removed. Not sure why, but probably because folks printed their
10 slide presentation and got 50 pages because each animation printed out on
a separate page.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

PowerPoint 2002 and PowerPoint 2003 do not have the capability to print
with animations (due to the complexity and non-sequential possibilities
added to animation effects beginning with PowerPoint 2002).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly that PowerPoint
should include some kind feature for printing slides/handouts/notes other
than how they appear in normal/slide view, don't forget to send your
feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible. Each submission should be
a single suggestion (not a list of suggestions).
