Printing without opening a document

I have recently upgraded to Word 2003 and now find that if I use the Open dialog box, right click several documents and choose print, I get a message that says it cannot continue because there is a dialog box open. I click OK, close the dialog box and it then opens and prints the dialog box. However, it doesn't print them in the correct order.
