Printing worksheets using borders

I have encountered a problem of missing borders in preview
and printouts. I have a very old file, in which have
applied borders in many worksheets. Frequently, I changed
the column width to accomodate my changing requirements.
At one time, on many such change, I found that I can no
longer get borders in preview and printout, even though
they are visible on the screen.
I tried by menu-based way several times but with no
result. Can anyone guide me to solve the knotty problem?.
I shall be very much obliged to receive a solution.

It is possible you have the "Draft Quality" selected in Page Setup>Sheet.

If so, de-select it.
