What does the text say?
Is the text present on any other pages of your publication?

you probabely have a text that is flowing out of its original container and
the only place to go is along side the container where you noticed it.

because you see it only when printing suggests that the problem is related
to font metrics...how the fonts arrange themselves. Windows feeds the
default printer's resolution to the the application which then arranges the
font data accordingly. It's called "hinting" and it pretty necessary at low
resolutions (as all desktop printers, especially inkjets) have. (Epson might
say "1440 dpi" but it is really only 180 for each color and then a double
squirt for each, meaning the real res is about 180-360)

I'm not certain of the full fix for this. I am going to guess that you have
two printers installed and that the one identified as the "default" printer
is NOT the one you printed to. In which case, cyhange your default printer
to the one you want to use and then carefully check you layout for text
overflows

OR if you have only one printer and that IS the default printer, that you
changed the resolution when you printed. The font metrics use the spacing
grid defined by the resolution of the printer. Change this in midstream, and
you have little snakes of text popping out all over the place.

this was a common problem in files I saw made with older versions of MSPub.
Much less a problem with the last couple versions.
