printview form

Hi,

I've a problem with a form's recordset.

On the onopen-event i set the form's recordset via ado, but when i use
the standard printbutton on the toolbar i get the message that i could
not find the recordsource. This correct because i use recordset.

So how can i solve this?

You don't print forms, you print reports.

Build a report and tie it to a button on your form.

hi rick,

i know but i still want to know how it can be solved, because if i need
to create a report it will take a day (it's a big report :) and i'm lazy)

Why would it take a day to create a report?

Use the wizard.

Or, open that form in design view, and then SAVE AS and it will give you the
option to save it as a report, then modify it.

In any case, lazy or not, forms are not made for printing. Sometimes you
simply can't get around that. Not sure why you'd want to.
