Prioritizing Send in Send/Receive, Outlook 2007

I am travelling a lot and also receive a lot of e-mails. Often, I have only a
couple of minutes of connection time to synchronize.

Therefore, I would like to prioritize Send during Send/Receive process - is
it possible to do something like that? (I am aware of "Send All" option).

My Outlook is set to Offline mode, as that is the most convenient for me.

Best regards,
Branko

Type of email account? You can make send/receive groups that send only,
then choose the Send only group when you want to send but here is no way to
prioritize sending ahead of receive when you press F9 or of individual
messages, other than by holding items in drafts - the oldest messages in the
outbox go first.

Hi Diane,

Thank you for the reply. It is Exchange account. Server is Exchange 2003,
but are there any differences in Exchange 2007 regarding this?

Strange, I was under impression that something like that existed in my old
Outlook 2003...

Thanks and best regards,
Branko

Outlook against Exchange has an offline mode and the new cached mode. I
don't recall if the old offline mode forced send first, but you can create
send and receive groups that do send only - this is the very best method of
insuring the messages are sent before new mail is downloaded. After they
are sent, if you have time, do a full send/receive to get new mail.
