Private meeting in Calendar.

I've arranged a meeting in anotherlocation with someone external to my
business. Can I enter this meeting in Calendar without scheduling a
resource, as the guest is not in my business and doesn't share an email. He
and I are the only attendees.

I would think that you can create an appointment without any resources.
Most, if not all, of my appointments are resource-less

You are right, they can be resource-less, but I planned a meeting in Calendar
Actions > Plan a meeting. The obvious attendee was myself but I did't want
to send an email to my guest inviting him to it as we already new is it was
going ahead.
I already arrange meetings in the fashion you describe but was just querying
whether or I might be using he Plan a meeting function incorrectly.

Thanks.

So, just enter it as an appointment, not a meeting.

A "Meeting" in Outlook is where you explicitly invite others through your
Outlook system and they can accept or decline the invitation. An appointment
is simply you marking on your calendar that you have something booked during
that time slot, regardless of the activity and other attendees.
