Prj Srv 2003 does not send email to outside the organization

Hi all,

We are using Project Server 2003 and it is configured to use SMTP virtual
server on ISS. It sends email to local exchange users when tasks are
created. But it doesn't send email to outside users.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can solve it?

I don't think the problem has anything to do with Project Server.

The problem could be: The server that project server is on has to be set up
in exchange to allow it to route through exchance. Otherwise it will send
back an error message to project server since the address you are sending to
is not on exchange but needs to be routed through exchange.
