Pro Tables and Views in the Database

Can anyone tell me where the Tables (such as Entry, etc.) and views
(such as Gantt, Enterprise Gantt, etc.) are stored in the Project
Server 2003 database? If I create a new view for a particular
project, and I have not saved it to the Enterprise Global, where does
the view get saved? And for that matter, tables that support the
views?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

The Table and View are saved in the actual project plan in which you created
them. If you wish the View and Table to be visible in everyone's project,
you should open the project in question and copy them to the Enterprise
Global file. Hope this helps.

Note, any Table, View, Filter that is in a project schedule cannot have the
same name as one in the Enterprise Global, the Enterprise Global wins. If
you have shared your views with others and you put the view into the
Enterprise Global, they may get a suprise the next time they open the
project schedule with an error message telling them that it is a duplicate
name. It will require them to rename the one in the project before they can
open it.

I like to keep to a discipline of adding a prefex to any tables, filters,
views, etc that are put into the global to identify who put it there and to
reduce the incident of duplicate names. I use the underscore followed by the
authors initials followed by another underscore and the name. The leading
underscore serves to drive the entry to the top of the list.
