Hi all !
I have one project with 3000 tasks with 3-4 assigments in the every
task. When I try to republish assigments, sometimes(very often) MS
Project Prof hung. CPU indicator show 100% during several hours and

Hi Max,

Sorry about that - the permissions had been accidentally changed - glad you were able to bring it to my attention! You should now be able to browse without logging in. For info, this is what it says:

24. Project Newsgroups.
When posting to a newsgroup please state your version of Project and Project Server if applicable. There are three Project newsgroups in English and are on the same server ie: msnews.microsoft.com. Here are the newsgroups you should be using for Microsoft Project posts:

microsoft.public.project - Miscellaneous Microsoft Project concerns including project management discussion and posts previously posted to microsoft.public.project2000, microsoft.public.project2000.projectcentral, and microsoft.public.project.standard_and_server.

microsoft.public.project.server - Microsoft Project Server concerns including posts previously posted to microsoft.public.project.pro_and_server and microsoft.public.project.standard_and_server.

microsoft.public.project.developer - Microsoft Project Developer concerns including posts previously posted to microsoft.public.project.vba.

Or you can try this URL and on the left select Project:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?d=1.

================
Otherwise, I can't help you, sorry, as I don't have a server.
