Problem about Synchronize the Actuals

Hi,

I need to know when I change in Project plan and change the date and
schedule of back dates then the project professional is giving me message
Synchronize the actuals with the time sheets of users and when i synchronize
this .
all my changes is lost .
i dont want that message again and again and want to do change in the back
date schedule and i dont want problems in user time sheets and project plan
..
please tell me resolution about this.

Michael:

When you use managed time periods in Project Server you tell the system that
the way the resource report the work should govern the way the schedule is
represented. You are making changes to the project plan that put the plan in
conflict with the actual work record. What do you want more; to preserve the
actual work record, or to alter the project plan?
