Problem accessing an 8 MB ppt file with graphics

What are you doing when it freezes?

What version of PPT are you using? Do you have all service packs applied?

Are you working from your local hard drive or from a networked or removable
drive?

I have to close the application each time it freezes. Anoher fact is that it
works fine in another machine.

i am using Microsoft Office Excel 2003. i have all the latest service packs
installed.

The machine is in a network.

So is the problem with Excel or PPT? Also, I still don't know what the issue
is -- is it that the file won't open on your computer, or is it freezing
while you're actually working on it? If the latter, again, what are you
doing when it freezes?

Try copying the file to your hard drive and opening it from there.

Finally, please double-check the service packs. In whichever application
you're working, go to Help|About and see what it says on the top line of
that dialog.
