Problem accessing Tasks Page in PWA

S

Sam Graber

We have some users on site who when they click on their tasks page to
fill out thier timesheets the screen flicks to the task page and then
goes straight back to thier home page.

In some cases this fixes itself within a couple of days but some users
still cant access it.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this problem.

PLEASE HELP !!! !!!

I'm also looking for some help as we have experienced the same problem
recently but limited to users loging-in remotely using our VPN. As this is a
relatively new occurrence for us, I wonder if Enterprise changes to our VPN
might have affected the ActiveX controls used by the application.

We have experienced this problem and found that Google Toolbar was causing a
problem. Find out if users have downloaded Google Toolbar and if so make
sure they remove it. Hopefully that will solve this problem.

this does not seem to be the issue casuing the problem as none of the
users have downloaded the Google Toolbar, i dont know if this helps
but if i log onto a users machine as an amdminsitratir the problem is
not there but as soon as they log in again the problem arises. Also
the problem seems to go awa y after a couple of days ...... nightmare

Hi,

I met the same problem. One of my user has this problem.
it seems caused by the pjgrid11.ocx cannot work normally.
I tried to compare all the dll files used by pjgrid11.ocx and and found only
one file msi.dll is different between my computer and his computer.

I don't know it is the root cause or not.

Does anybody solve this problem?

You might want to try to delete their profile as it could be a profile
issue.

It could also be a problem with the PWA ActiveX controls. You might want to
try logging in on those machines as an Administrator, delete the pj* files
from the C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files, and then login to Project
Server to download and install the PWA ActiveX controls (still as an
Administrator).

Good luck.
