Problem adding resource to enterprise pool

I'm having difficulty adding a work resource to the enterprise resource pool.
Each time I try I get a "Name or Windows Account Error". I've gone into
Admin figuring it was a duplicate that I could just delete and then try again
but he's not listed there to delete.....any ideas?

Was there a pre-existing user account for this resource in PWA? If so, you
must match the information exactly between the resource in the Enterprise
Resource Pool and the user account in PWA.
