I don't know what forum to ask this question in so please redirect me if this
is not the proper place.

I cannot get the new question widow to open on my XP machine. It acts like
it is opening the box but it goes back to the discussion page. I am posting
this guestion on my Vista pc. Appreciate any help you can give me.

Hold down the ctrl key to disable your Pop-up blocker, and then ask your
question in the area designated for the software your question relates to.

I'm sorry but I should have told you I already tried that. I have also turned
of my ad blocker and added Microsoft.com to my Ok list in IE ad blocker. I
might also add I could not reply to you on this machine.

Please try the IE7 group.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

I strongly suggest you try a proper newsreader instead of that slow
and quirky web interface.

You would be FAR better off using a newsreader to access these groups rather
than the horrible web interface.
