Problem Connecting to project server 2007

I've installed Project server 2007 Basic (stand-alone) and i'm having
problems connecting to it thru Project professional 2007.

I get the same message all the time.

"Login Failed. Project could not connect to server
Please check username and password an try again."

The thing is that I use that password and username to access PWA without a
problem.

What do I need to do to make this work? Please help me

Hi,
First in your Internet Explorer put in security tab, local Intranet your
PWA url (http://servername).

Second, in Microsoft Project, in Tools, Enterprise Options, Microsoft
Office Project Server Accounts, checked Manually control... After choose
your connexion and click Properties.

Third, Type a account Name, Project Server url (http://servername/PWA),
When Connecting, choose Use Forms Authenticated, And type your username.
Click OK
Restart Microsoft Professional When the login window appear, check Enter
User Credudentials. Check if your username is good an type your password.

I think if you follow this your are enabled to connect to your Microsoft
Project to PWA.
