Word 2003.
I am doing documentation. I have a ton of screen shots (default: in-line with text) that I am inserting into the second of a two column table. Each page holds two screen shots. The column is set to fixed width. Here's the problem: I am annotating some of the screen shots with text boxes. I would like to be able to copy a text box and paste it to another screen shot since often the only thing that changes is a word or two inside. This way I could preserve the border style, the font size, and the box size. I can copy and paste. (and you know if you've tried this that the pasted copy comes out right next to the box being copied. So, here's the problem: If I try and drag the box down to the next picture, most of the time it just disappears!!!! I cannot figure out where it goes but as soon as it hits the edge of the screen shot, it's usually gone. If I have to drag to another page, for sure it doesn't get there. I have just been undoing and re-creating the new box. But I'm stumped - where is the silly box? Any help would be appreciated. I just finished a 35 page manual and am on the second of three. I really need to save as much time and effort as possible. Thanks in advance
