Problem: creating company email signature with a jpeg logo

i compose using Word2003 as the advanced editor, but nothing shows when i
switch to that account to send email, not even text.
any help would be great.

This indicates to me that you are typing in the signature area and when you
switch accounts, your text, which Word believes is the signature, gets
replaced with the (empty) signature of that account.
