Problem Creating MDE

A database was converted from 97 to 2002 with no problems or errors. When
you try and make an MDE from 2002 a message appears stating "Microsoft
Access was unable to create an MDE database" and won't convert it. Are there
any suggestion anyone can offer. I tried repairing the 2002, but there were
no errors.

Did you compile the database in Access 97 first? If not, open any
module and compile all.

Actually, she will need to get it to compile in 2002 first. There may be
code from A97 that is not working in 2002 and she will need to get that
sorted out before it will convert the file.
