Problem - creating new page

E

Edward

On "computer A" when working on a Frontpage website, Frontpage crashes with
an application error when I try to save the new page to the site.

On "computer B" it works fine I can do what ever I want.

Any thoughts as to where FP saves the temp files (I'd like to clear them
off); I've cleared out c:\documents and settings\username\local settings\temp
and that hasn't helped. I've also done a detect and repair... do I have to
go as far as reinstalling office or Frontpage? FP2000.

Thanks.

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm
and download FP Cleaner.

Run the functions that clear the FrontPage Temporary files
and the Cache(.web) files.

See if it fixes the problems.

Thanks. Tried that however it still crashes.

I can choose, File, New, and start working on the page, which suggests the
local temp should be functioning normally. It crashes when I try to then
save the page; click on save, dialog for nameing the file, click on OK. Poof,
error report "sorry for the inconvenience, blah, blah...."

1. Which version of FP?
2. For the pages that crash on Save, have you inserted any Flash files?

I guess I should add that I can edit and save existing content just fine. I
just can't create and save a new blank page...
