Problem Deleting Workspaces

I have deleted a few workspaces(sites) from our project server. The
workspaces are still showing up in our lists of workspaces. If I try to
access them, they show up as not existing. How can I get them to really
delete?

How did you delete them (which UI), and which list of workspaces are they
showing up in?

I actually figured it out just now...these projects had project plans
associated with them and thus I couldnt delete them completely. Once I
deleted the "server object"(project plan) the workspaces disappeared from the
list. Thank you for your help.
