I have an access 2002 database that I embed OLE links to images on a mapped
drive on our 2003 server. Until recently, if I browsed the table and
double-clicked the OLE link, the image popped up by itself. Now, after 54
microsoft updates, I get a "Do you want to open this file?" prompt every time
I double-click the link. It really causes a problem when I run a Crystal
report and the images don't appear. I think the issue is linked. It's
obviously some sort of security enhancement, but I can't find any info on how
to modify it's behavior.
Any help would be appreciated.
