problem faxing from Word for MAC OSX on Panther

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Documents created in Word
will not fax off Panther, either in FaxSTF which I have installed, or off
the built-in faxing that Apple put in Panther. The problem is
apparently in Word, since TextEdit or other program docs will fax.
Anyone got anything?
