PROBLEM FORMATTING A PICTURE

P

Pat

I am using Word 2002. Each year I make a calendar using the wizard and in
that calendar I add pictures using Insert ClipArt or copy and pasting from
Microsoft Clipart. I have always been able to edit these, resize, rotate
etc. They would appear with 9 small circles around the clipart. This year I
get a solid black line with solid black squares around the clipart and can
only resize the clipart. I cannot move or rotate at all. No change to
software, clipart. I am at a loss as to how to fix this.

Thank you so much for your response. I thought of that but cannot execute it
as that screen is greyed out.

What screen? When you click on the picture, you should get the Picture
toolbar. Click on the Text Wrapping button (dog icon) to change the wrapping
style.

If I get to the picture toolbar (sometimes it does not come up) and click the
dog icon all of the choices in the drop down menu are grey.

I am confused as I have created this exact calendar for years and years.
When I open last years and even copy and paste the icon that was fine and
changeable to this years calendar it becomes unchangeable with the solid
black line around it.

Would it be helpful if I emailed you my files (last years that was fine and
this years that won't cooperate)?
