problem in configuring microsoft outlook 2003 via squid proxy serv

sir,
when i configure Microsoft outlook 2003 with internet explorer proxy
settings, it is not configured.can u tell me any option through which i can
bypass the proxy settings into the Microsoft outlook or there is any option
into the internet explorer through which i can change the proxy settings into
the Microsoft outlook 2003.
