Problem in installing the MsOffice Setup -reg

Dear Friends,

In Windows 2000 Proffesional, while I was installing the Ms Office 97 setup
from the CD, I got the error, Ms Office 97 was already installed. But it is
not true.

But when I installed the same setup from the Network, the setup got
installed sucessfully. I thought the problem is with the CD. But with the
same CD I could install the setup in some other machine.

Why I could not install the Setup from the CD? Whether the machine has any
setup for it?
