Problem inserting documents as pictures

I am having problems using the "insert document as picture" function. I am
using Office Professional 2003 first edition and installed service pack 2.
I've installed OneNote 2003 and then installed service pack 2. I tried the
fix posted on the Microsoft site (rename dll file, uninstall document imaging
and reinstall). This did not fix the problem. Is there something else I can
try. I did not install service pack 1 and then 2. I installed service pack 2
directly after installing the original release of both products. I should
mention that I was able to use this function once.

You might have a look at ON 2007.
Although it's a beta, it works really fine.
It's available for download on the MS Office 2007 Beta site for a
nominal fee of $ 1.50.

Among others importing images has been by far improved in the new
version.
