problem installing access

I reinstalled office xp professional 2002 and can run all programs except
access. It will not open. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I need to

no error messages. the program ran before I reinstalled it.

Browse to the location where your Office2003 is installed. Mine is:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office2003\OFFICE11

but that may not be the default (since I run multiple versions).

Make sure MSACCESS.EXE is in that folder. Start it (double-click). Does it start?

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office2003\OFFICE11

I meant Office XP (2002) not Office 2003 which would be installed (by default) to

\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10 not Office 11.

I did all the steps. MSACESS.EXE is in the folder. When I double clicked it
said preparing to install, then configuring msoffice, then gathering
information. then nothing happens. Whats my next step?
