Problem installing Microsoft Office (Home & Student 2007)

Hi,

I followed the instructions for installing the new version of Office 2007
(Home & Student edition). After installing the program, I received a message
saying that the installation was sucessfull. The problem is that I don't see
the application on my computer (there is no Word, excel, powerpoint icons ...
and office is not listed in the list of programs available on my computer)

Can somebody help me find out what may be the problem ?

Note : Windows Vista is installed on my computer

When you go to Start and type in "Word", does it come up on the search list?
