problem loading from Excel into MS SQL Server

I have 5 tables almost of the same format on 5 spreadsheets in the same
workbook.
When I load those tables into 5 tables in SQL Server, 3 tables are loaded
fine.
2 others give me a problem:
Column, in which I have integers, value 1, in some cells, other once just
empty, Excel formating reads General, are not loaded correctly. Values from
Excel are ignored and column rows have "null" only.
That looks strange because the same column, with the same formating from
other sheets is loaded fine in similar table.
I know how to solve that problem. What is strange, why it does not work only
in a few tables, others are fine?
