Problem Loading Office Std Ed 2003

When I try to load the Office Standard Edition 2003 the
CD will copy all the temp files to the hard drive and
then come up with the following message and stop: "The
System cannot read from the specificed device" (Windows
Installer).

I suspect a bad CD. How do I get this replaced?

Also note: I have been able to load all other software
including Windows XP upgrade, Office XP upgrade, and
others so do not see any hardware or other issues.

Have you tried cleaning the CD to see if there was any errant dust or other
debris on the CD?

If it is a bad CD, go back to the retailer where you bought it or contact
Microsoft for replacement media.
