M
Mr. Meredith Gafford
A main form in my database has a subform. The data in the main form and
subform comes from two separate, updateable queries which are related in a
one-to-many relationship. Both the main form and subform are set to allow
data edits. When data is edited in the subform followed by an attempt to
edit data in the main form, the following informational message is displayed:
"The data has been changed. Another user edited this record and saved the
changes before you attempted to save your changes. Re-edit the record."
After clicking "OK" in response to the message, I can continue to edit the
record in the main form. What causes this message? This is a stand-alone
database to which only I have access, so there aren't any other simultaneous
users. Is there a work-around that can eliminate this annoying message?
(I'm using Access 2000.)
