problem moving message from inbox to other folders

When I try to move a message from the inbox to any other folder, what i get
in the destination folder is a what looks like a "post-it" containing only
the sender, receiver, subject and date....no text. Any suggestions?

What is the type of the other folder? Is it, too, a mail folder?
