Hello

I get an error when I attempt recovery of tables in a mySql database via the
import wizard powerPivot for Excel 2010
"Failed to retrieve data from absence. Reason: ERROR [42000] [MySQL][ODBC
5.1 Driver][mysqld-4.1.22-community-nt]You have an error in your SQL syntax;
check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right
syntax to use near '[absence].* FROM [absence]' at line 1"

This import works very well if I go through the wizard to import data
directly from Excel 2010 (table by table).

Thank you in advance for your help

Delete Initial Catalogue in DSN ans make a SELECT statement manually.
