Problem - Office 2007

Hi all,
I have a question about install. I have this beta of Office 2007. When I
save the excel document and word document and then attempt to open in 2003,
its just comes up blank nothing gets saved. My thought was maybe I could
install my 2003 without excel install and and leave the beta version on excel
running so I can copy/paste the info into a readable document. Any
suggestions would be great.
