I have a database that works perfectly on one computer. We
use a crossover cable to connect to another computer, and
run the database on the second computer from the first i.e
I have not split the database.
There are some very strange problems when using the second
computer. It repeatedly asks for paramaters. For example
if the field is [Student ID], it asks for paramaters for
[Student] and [ID]. Also it gives an error on a specific
form because the Master and Child fields numbers don't
corespond.
The database works perfectly when I use it on a friends
computer, even when I use the cable to run it on his
computer from the first.
Is there some mysterious option that I am missing?
Both computers have Office XP installed.
I have tried repairing the Office installation but that
doesn't seem to help.
