Problem Opening Excel Attachments in Outlook 2000

A user is experiencing problems trying to open attached
Excel spreadsheets within Outlook by double-clicking on
it or by right-clicking on it and selecting Open. When
they try and open it, Excel immediately opens up, but the
spreadsheet does not. If you minimize Excel, you see the
Outlook error message "the system cannot find the file
specified". I've already looked in the MS Knowledge Base
and followed the instructions regarding clearing the
checkbox for "ignore other applications" within Excel's
options.....and it did nothing to help with this problem.
If anyone has any other suggestions, it would be
appreciated.
