I have a problem opening MPP files created in version 98
of the product. My software version is Microsoft Project
Standard 2002. I am able to open some (smaller sizes)
files that have been created in Version 98, but am getting
the message "Microsoft Project has encountered a problem
and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"
when I attempt to open a larger file. The user who is
creating this file can save the files under the MPX 4.0
format, and I can then read it using 2002.
Has anyone else had the same problem?
