Problem Opening Pub 2000 docs

I have Pub 2000 and cannot get it to open a doc that I
know was made with the same program that was given to me
and that was emailed to me. I have reinstalled the
original program twice and have it updated. They are Pub
Docs.

How big is the smallest file that won't open?
