I have installed BCM for Outlook 2003 on my new PC/WinXP Home. I have applied
all the latest upgrades, including BCM Service Packs 2 & 3. I am still
having a problem installing my old database though. The Startup Wizard now
runs and asks whether I want to install a new database or "select a
database." It recognizes that my old database is on my new PC so I selected
that. When selected and told to "connect" to it a message comes up saying
the database is from an older BCM version and needs to be upgraded. I
selected the 'upgrade" option. The wizard gets almost all the way through
the upgrading process indicator and then hangs. After an hour I get a
message that says "the program is not responding."
Does any one have any suggestions/answers for how to get this database
installed from here?
Thanks.
